Coldwater Lake Marina Dry Storage Rental Agreement
- Insurance and Liability
No Storage Insurance: Coldwater Lake Marina does not carry storage insurance for boats, motors, or trailers. It is the sole responsibility of the Lessee to maintain adequate marine insurance coverage on their unit throughout the storage period.
Personal Items: The Marina is not responsible for any personal items left in the boat. The Lessee agrees to remove all personal items from the boat before storage. - Acknowledgment and Hold Harmless
Insurance Requirement: The Lessee acknowledges and agrees to maintain comprehensive marine insurance protection for the unit while it is stored at Coldwater Lake Marina.
Hold Harmless: The Lessee agrees to hold Coldwater Lake Marina harmless from any loss or damage to the stored unit, including any claims arising from the storage of the unit. - Lease Term and Fees
Lease Term: This lease commences on August 15th of the current year and terminates on June 15th of the following year. Any storage beyond this period will be charged at a rate of half of the regular winter storage fee.
Storage Fee: The storage fee is due within 90 days of receipt of the invoice. Interest at the rate of 2.0% per month (24.0% annual rate) will be applied to past-due accounts. A stored boat cannot be removed until all charges are fully paid. - Agreement and Binding Terms
Agreement Binding: By electronically acknowledging this Agreement, the Lessee agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement for the current year and for any subsequent year(s) in which the Lessee presents a boat, motor, or trailer to Coldwater Lake Marina for dry storage. This Agreement remains in effect until terminated by either party with written notice.
Non-Expiration: This Agreement does not expire and continues to apply unless explicitly terminated by the Lessee or the Marina. - Notification for Spring Launch or Pickup
Advance Notice: The Lessee must provide Coldwater Lake Marina with at least two weeks’ notice prior to the desired date for spring launch or pickup of the stored unit
By selecting the checkbox and submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Dry Storage Rental Agreement. I understand that my electronic acknowledgment constitutes a binding agreement between myself and Coldwater Lake Marina.
